Tillig

In 1993 Hans-Jürgen Tillig bought the BTTB Zeuke GmbH and startet the new firm Berliner TT Bahnen Pilz GmbH & Co KG still settled in Berlin. In the end of 1993 this name was changed in Tillig Bahnen und Gleise GmbH & Co KG and the firm was transferred to Sebnitz. With Tillig as new owner of all the TT models from Zeuke and BTTB, the future for the gauge TT was saved.

Almost directly after the take over, the limited on the East Europe focused collection of trains was changed and expanded to more in West Europe known models. Firms like Jatt, Roco and Arnold were participating in this expansion.

For the time being, I will limit myself to show you in this catalogue only the models till 2000. Models originated before or around 2000 and available after 2002, will show a version change between 2001 and 2002, where the close coupling kinematic, cck for short, is added to the models. This kinematic provides better driving behaviour of long trains on curvy tracks. See for an example "Freight cars", "2-axle closed wagons", 14111 and 14112, etc. You will see here cck mentioned with the coupling type.

The bracket coupling will be changed in 2007 in a more realistic claw coupling. Also this improvement will give a version change for models originated before or around 2000 and still at this moment available.
